COOKS
Great COOKS will prepare menu items to recipe specifications in a timely manner. This is a high-paced position that requires multi-tasking and a "get it done" personality.
The position also requires someone who will: Control recipes by weighing and measuring designated ingredients. Provide food preparation assistance by washing, peeling, cutting and seeding vegetables and fruits. Cleaning, cutting meats, poultry and seafood as necessary. Provide food and utensils for cooking by carrying pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, buffet and refrigerator. Monitors and maintains proper temperatures for cooking and storage of food. Maintains food quality by storing foods in designated areas, preventing spoilage. Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; requisitioning supplies and food; verifying receipt and arranging storage. A Great COOK enhances the kitchen and organization's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to the organization.

GREETER/CASHIER/CARRY-OUT
A person hired for this position will be cross-trained for each role.
A GREETER will greet customers with prompt, courteous service, menu knowledge, suggestive selling, and maintain the area. A great GREETER will observe the customers for any special needs. GREETERS will utilize the seating section chart and seat customers among Servers appropriately.
In the CARRY-OUT position, you will receive orders by phone, fax, online or curbside. The CARRY-OUT position will receive the order, call in accurately to kitchen and expedite the order appropriately. This position will provide prompt, courteous service to the customer, ensuring the customer wants to return to Big Boy.
The CASHIER will accurately cash-out each order, attend to each customer and inquire customers about their dining experience. The CASHIER will inform customers of our bakery products, offering those items for carryout after dining.

SERVERS
SERVERS will provide our customers with prompt, courteous service. Great SERVERS will have extensive menu knowledge, suggestive selling skills, and a Great rapport with customers. SERVERS will also maintain dining room sanitation and ensure the server aisle is stocked and clean, while upholding safe food policies and procedures. Most of all, a great SERVER will love taking care of our customers.

SERVICE ASSISTANT/DISHWASHERS/BUSSERS
We are looking for SERVICE ASSISTANTS to provide the safest, most sanitary cookware and dinnerware possible in a clean, friendly, safe and efficient environment. Responsibilities of the SERVICE ASSISTANTS include table clearing when necessary, assisting dining room crew to turn tables in a timely manner, ensuring all dishes are washed in a timely manner, preventing food contamination by following proper sanitation procedures at all times. SERVICE ASSISTANTS will keep the dishroom clean at all times, provide daily degreasing/pressure washing floor in dishroom and leaving the dishroom 100% clean. SERVICE ASSISTANTS return china, silver and glassware to their proper locations to support other team members. Must work at a rapid pace and be able to help in other areas as requested by management.

BUFFET ATTENDANT/PREP COOK
BUFFET ATTENDANTS/PREP COOKS will prepare and control soup and sauce recipes by weighing and measuring designated ingredients. BUFFET ATTENDANTS/PREP COOKS provide food preparation assistance by washing, peeling, cutting and seeding vegetables and fruits. Cleaning, cutting meats, poultry and seafood as necessary. Providing food and utensils for COOK by carrying pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, buffet and refrigerators. The position requires monitoring and maintenance of proper temperatures for cooking and storage of food; maintenance of food quality by storing foods in designated areas; maintaining a safe, secure and healthy work environment by cleaning work areas, equipment and utensils; segregating and removing garbage; steam-cleaning and hosing refuse containers, following sanitation standards and procedures. A Great BUFFET ATTENDANT/PREP COOK will always ensure that the Buffet is always clean and presentable.
